IT INTERN


Marcus Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you'll gain invaluable experience by providing technical support across our Hotels, Corporate Office, Theatres, and Enterprise IT systems. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensuring seamless application performance, you'll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency. If you’re passionate about customer service, have an eye for detail, and are eager to solve tech challenges, this is your opportunity to shine. This internship starts as a full-time summer position with the flexibility to transition to part-time during the fall semester at our Milwaukee corporate office.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide first tier technical support and incident management for the corporate office and field associates. Triage and escalate the more complex technical problems to higher tier support.

  • Work closely with HTAC team on urgent and more time critical issues.

  • Understand and assist with mobile device and PC/laptop acquisition, set up, and delivery.

  • Document all asset management changes and ensure all incidents and requests are recorded using corporate ticketing systems.

  • Remain aware of current information system trends and technologies.

  • Perform other duties assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Basic understanding of the following technologies:Microsoft Windows 10/11 Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite
    Cellular and tablet technologies, OS, and applications (iOS, Android)
    Wireless, telecommunications, and networking knowledge
    PC hardware knowledge

  • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, analytical, and written communication skills

  • Desire to learn and contribute in a team-based environment

  • Strong incident identification and problem solving skills

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels

  • Ability to prioritize workload based on business needs and meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and dedicated to follow-through in all work

  • Willing and motivated to learn new skills, tasks, and software systems to meet the changing demands of the industry

  • Ability to be on site in our Milwaukee office and work part time during the school year

Salary Estimate: starting at $20/hour
